| Mayberrysgone.com proudly introduces the A.C.T. Series of Advanced Concealed Carry Training! In an effort to meet the demands of our current, and past clientel, we are pleased to be able to offer our Advanced Carry Tactics Courses! We firmly believe that a 12 hour class on Basic Pistol Safety IS NOT ENOUGH TO PREPARE YOU FOR AN ALTERCATION ON A CITY STREET! Like anything else in life, it requires CONTINUING EDUCATION! |
| A.C.T. 101 (Advanced Carry Tactics First Level) Intermediate Gunfighting Course Prerequisites A valid CHL is preferred, but not neccessary. However, you MUST have completed the BASIC PISTOL course. You must be at least 21 years old. Course Length 6 Hours Supplies Needed A quality Weapon (preferably your carry piece)* 250-300 Rounds of Ammunition A sturdy, non-retention holster for your Weapon** A double magazine pouch (No flaps) 3 Magazines for the Weapon you are using. Eye & Ear Protection Lunch & Hydration Dress according to weather...It will proceed regardless. **Blackhawk Serpa Holsters (pushbutton) ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THIS COURSE!!! Course Objective The course objective, is to start getting you away from the mundane, and useless world of target shooting. Why? Because you will never have the opportunity to get into a proper shooting stance, with a proper isosceles arm position, have excellent sight alignment, control your breathing, and exercise great trigger control...in a Walmart parking lot. The purpose of this training class, is to get you acclimated to the world of “Point N Shoot” techniques. As well as, drawing from concealment, reloading your weapon, clearing your weapon of a malfunction, shooting multiple rounds into your attacker, and shooting with Lateral (side to side) Movement...all at distances from 12 to 2 feet. This is NOT a beginning shooter's class! If you can target shoot, effectively, and possess a CHL, then you are qualified for this class. Safety This is NOT an NRA safety class! Whereas obvious, and basic safety rules will be enforced, and observed, we will NOT be discussing gun safety. Cost $175 per person. Qualified Individuals will receive a certificate in A. C.T. 101, and a 15% discount to A.C.T. 201. |
